Abby comes from Grimsby and lives in London. She writes regularly on anything from feminism to saving libraries for both paper and onscreen publications. Since then, Abby has been featured in Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Vanity Fair and several other magazines.

Her first novel, Flick, was published in 2011. Her second novel Golden Boy (2013) won an American Library Association ALEX award, and was shortlisted for the LAMBDA Award for Best Debut LGBT Fiction. The book was named a Booklist Top 10 First Novel of 2013 and a School Library Journal Best Book of 2013.

Abby is currently editing her third novel in coffee shops, all-night casinos and hotel lounges with her red suitcase stowed at reception.
