FACE THE MUSIC (Macmillan Children’s Books, 2017)

Katie Cox (overnight singing sensation and owner of the World’s Wonkiest Fringe) never meant to become a pop star. And she didn’t mean to start a war with Karamel (aka the World’s Cheesiest Boy Band).

Now her first concert is just days away. Cool? Maybe. Terrifying? Definitely. And with her school friends more interested in her fame than her feelings, and an army of Karamel fans ready to take her down, this battle goes way beyond the charts.

ACCIDENTAL SUPERSTAR (Macmillan Children’s Books, 2016)

If I’d known that two million people were going to be watching, I’d probably have done a bit of tidying up.

Katie Cox is used to going unnoticed, by her mum, her dad, even her best friend. But when a video of her singing in her bedroom goes viral, she becomes a superstar overnight. As the views skyrocket and a recording contract beckons, the real world starts to feel very far away.

And now Katie’s riding high on her newfound fame. But the higher she goes, the further there is to fall…

Accidental Superstar by Marianne Levy is the first in a hilarious series about a girl who accidentally finds fame singing online.

EllieMay3ELLIE MAY CAN DEFINITELY BE TRUSTED TO KEEP A SECRET (Egmont, 2013)

Dear Everybody,

I’m an incredibly famous film star!  I get interviewed in magazines and I hang out with other celebrities and I know it’s bad to gossip so I hardly ever do.

And that means I am very good at keeping secrets.  Right now, I’m keeping loads and loads!  For example, I’ve never told anyone that my chaperone Jeffrey likes to sing in the toilet and … oh dear.

EllieMay2ELLIE MAY IS TOTALLY HAPPY TO SHARE HER PLACE IN THE SPOTLIGHT (Egmont, 2013)

Dear Everybody,

I’m an incredibly famous film star! Everyone knows who I am, even Eskimos and people in France.

And I’ve just made friends with an amazingly beautiful model.  In fact, she’s going to be in my next film!  Jeffrey’s worried I won’t like sharing the spotlight. But I’m sure it’ll be fine.  After all, I always share my fudge cake.

Well, almost always, anyway…

EllieMay1ELLIE MAY WOULD LIKE TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY FOR A CHANGE (Egmont, 2012)

Dear Everybody,

I’m an incredibly famous film star!  I get to sign autographs and be in magazines and I have my very own chaperone, Jeffrey, to look after me. Hooray!

But I am also a very serious person. I love nature. I have a bag decorated with butterflies. Did you know that butterflies turn into caterpillars? Amazingly amazing!

And that’s why I’m helping to save a nature reserve. I’ve never saved anything before, but it can’t be very hard . . . can it?

Love, Ellie May xxx
