Désirée Reynolds

Désirée Reynolds is a writer, editor, curator and creative writing workshop facilitator living in Sheffield. She started her writing career as a freelance journalist and has written and published film scripts, short stories, poetry and flash fiction. Her first novel, Seduce, was published by Peepal Tree Press in 2013, and she was longlisted for the BBC Short Story Award in 2021.

 

Désirée's BFI-funded short film, Born On Sunday, Silent, will be released in 2024. She is currently artist in residence at the Sheffield Archives, and is Creative Director of 'Dig Where You Stand: Unearthing Untold Stories', an archive justice movement.
